8:48pm: Bad bad Leroy Brown
I don't know if I've told anyone but Selena got a dog. A Basenji. I think Basenji is Egyptian for '6 dogs in one', but I'm not sure. We named him Leroy Brown, after the Jim Croce song "Bad, bad Leroy Brown..." Truly, I say, it's fitting.

Anywho, Mr. Brown is a handful, but soooo lovable. I really don't get mad at him. We have an arrangement in the morning. Since Selena works so late I let him out when I get up and then put him in the crate so that he doesn't 'get into trouble' while she sleeps.

Well..... this morning I was running late and he was sleeping so soundly and looked so cute and innocent cuddling next to Sweet Selena that I just said 'awwwww' and went to my session. When I got home Selena says I thought we had an arrangement. So I told her all about his cute innocence. That's when she told me she found a box of band-aids and her glasses in the toilet.

LMAO!

12:03am: SHE'S A LESBIAN!

Yes it's true. I have class with another lesbian. I am truly happy about this. Not sure why. I think it's the instant rapport thing. I mean I can talk however I want you know and it doesn't matter. I don't have to go through the "ohhhhh.... you're gay" thing.

How's everybody?

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

8th December 2004

7:55pm: I thought there was another lesbian in my class. A new girl (woman) who started after me. She looks like a lesbian and talks like a lesbian so I thought she was a lesbian. Then she said, "I have a male friend." And in my head I'm like, 'she's straight; lesbians don't say that... lesbians play the pronoun game.'

And then.... another group started and I'm darn sure this woman is a les. She walks the walk and talks the talk and I think she duped some peeps today. She said, "My girlfriend wants to go to this......." And I thought, 'she's not sayin girlfriend like girl-friend but they think she is'. So, I have yet to get confirmation but I'll keep yous updated.

BTW, I'm not out at school. I just don't talk about it, y'know. I wish I'd started off waving a rainbow flag and yelling "we are everywhere." But I just avoided all those possible conversations from the start so now coming out seems difficult. But if given the chance and the right situation believe me I will.
1:08am: Where's Machammon? When did life get so serious? Why am I stressed out?

Machammon is living HER life.
Life got serious when I started school, moved in with mom and dad, work and study every waking moment I'm not in class.
I am stressed out probly cause I don't take Wellbutrin anymore. I'm not that different, am I?

Ha.

Life is good. Overall. I'm stressed out though, fer reel.

How's school you ask? Well, I finally got approval to do public massage for credit at school. AND... AND... AND..... I got a 107 on my Big Bad Bones test. Yeah! Oh, yeah! Gotta bring that 3.68 up.

How's everybody?

8th November 2004

12:50am: School's Good.
Work is work.
The family is good.
Living situation is good.
I miss my friends.
How are you all?

30th September 2004

5:23pm: Hello livejournal. I haven't seen you in a while. I honestly don't miss you. But I do miss my friends. So I'm a Massage Therapist!!!! Um, student. That's right. And I can give massage, but not accept money for the massage until I'm licensed. I do have to buy a table and pay for licensure. All that totals about a thousand buckaroos. Ouch!!! Yes, ouch. Could be more depending on the table quality.

I'll be available for paid massage in March. Hope you'll all tell your pals that they need a massage in March and they need it from me!

I'm doing well in school. I've got an A average and the word is out that I give quite a nice massage even for a student.

Hope to see you all out soon.

5:22pm: This is what you must believe if you are a Republican
THINGS YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO BE A REPUBLICAN TODAY:

Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's
daddy
made war on him, a good guy when Cheney did business with him and a
bad guy
when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.

Trade with Cuba is wrong because the country is communist, but trade
with
China and Vietnam is vital to a spirit of international harmony.

A woman can't be trusted with decisions about her own body, but
multinational corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind
without
regulation.

The best way to improve military morale is to praise the troops in
speeches while slashing veterans' benefits and combat pay.

If condoms are kept out of schools, adolescents won't have sex.

Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Providing health
care to all Americans is socialism.

HMOs and insurance companies have the best interests of the public at
heart.

Global warming and tobacco's link to cancer are junk science, but
creationism should be taught in schools.

A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable
offense.
A president lying to enlist support for a war in which thousands die
is
solid defense policy.

Government should limit itself to the powers named in the
Constitution,
which include banning gay marriages and censoring the Internet.

The public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades, but
George
Bush's cocaine conviction is none of our business.

Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you're a
conservative radio host. Then it's an illness, and you need our
prayers for
your recovery.

You support states' rights, which means Attorney General John
Ashcroft
can tell states what local voter initiatives they have the right to
adopt.

What Bill Clinton did in the 1960s is of vital national interest, but
what Bush did in the '80s is irrelevant.

Feel free to pass this on. If you don't send it to at least 10 other
people, we're likely to be stuck with George Dubya Bush for 4 more
years.

2:42am: John Kerry Plan
This week, I have been writing to you each day from the road about a different piece of the plan John Edwards and I have laid out for a stronger America. Today, I would like to talk about our commonsense plan to cut the deficit in half, make health care affordable, support small business, and improve our schools:
  1. Cut middle class taxes: Let me be very clear: I will not raise taxes on middle-class Americans by one dime -- I will cut them, including tax cuts to make health care and education more affordable. 98 percent of Americans will pay less taxes under my plan, period.
  2. Repeal Bush's tax cuts for the elite to pay for health and education: I will make health care affordable and accessible for all Americans and invest in education by rolling back the Bush tax cuts for individuals making over $200,000 per year.
  3. Get government spending under control: I will restore the spending caps of the 1990s to ensure that spending -- outside of education and security -- does not grow faster than inflation.
  4. End corporate welfare to reduce the deficit: I will push the McCain-Kerry Corporate Welfare Commission to eliminate wasteful and unnecessary corporate subsidies, and I will use the savings to reduce the deficit.
  5. Reduce the corporate tax rate by 5 percent by ending tax breaks for companies that move jobs overseas.
  6. Provide significant relief to employers who offer their employees quality health coverage. Our plan will cover certain high-cost health cases and save families up to $1,000 per year.

2:33am: Letter of Reply from Senator
"Dear Ms. Reed:
Thank you for contacting me to express your concerns on a
constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.
I am opposed to gay marriage. I firmly believe marriage should be only between a man and a woman, which is why I support Florida's law and state's rights to ban same-sex marriage. But I voted against a procedural motion, along with a majority of the Senate, to end debate, because this change to the U.S. Constitution does more than ban gay marriage. The wording could limit civil rights--including inheritance and hospital visitation, for example--for a whole class of people. And throughout our history, the Constitution has always guaranteed civil rights, not taken them away.
I appreciate you being involved in the political process. I will keep your views in mind.

Senator Bill Nelson"

**Please VOTE! Our Senator's personal views are opposed to our Gay interests. Voting and being politically active keeps our issues on hand and important to politicians. If we sit back and watch political processes nothing will change to better our rights. GO VOTE!**
2:20am: Court Strikes Down State Defense of Marriage Act as Unconstitutional
The ruling strikes down as unconstitutional the state's Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. The law was enacted by state lawmakers in 1998 over the veto of then Governor Gary Locke. The court today held that the Washington State Constitution requires same-sex couples have access to marriage, and that the 1998 law violates that guarantee. Like the Massachusetts high court opinion last February, the Washington court held that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Washingtonians are constitutionally entitled to full marriage equality.

Lambda Legal and the Northwest Women's Law Center initiated the lawsuit four months ago on behalf of same-sex couples who were denied marriage licenses in King's County. Six state legislators, a wide variety of religious organizations and several civil rights groups filed friend-of-the-court briefs supporting the right of same-sex couples to marry in Washington. The case is the first of its kind in Washington since the Massachusetts high court ruled that same-sex couples are entitled to full marriage under the Massachusetts state constitution. The case is unlike the Massachusetts case, however, in that same-sex couples in Massachusetts did not face an explicit state statutory ban on same-sex marriage.

Don't let this activity fool you. We are not winning, but we are on the right track. Massachusettes voted to allow same-sex marriage. Last week Missouri voted against same-sex marriage. It's important to vote in this year's election. If you are not registered, get registered.

2nd August 2004

7:51am:

Come to Southern on August 5th, 7th, and 9th to get registered to vote!  If you know anyone who isn't registered, persuade them to go out for a night of fun and we'll do the rest.  IT's important that we all get registered and utilize our right to vote.  The more people registered, the more people voting and the better our chances to SHAVE THE BUSH!

Vote: Kerry / Edwards

It's time to get George Dubya out of office.  Let's get someone in there who actually cares about improving America, not just improving his bank account.

Marriage Equality. Our Senate votes on the FMA. Federal Marriage Amendment in a couple weeks. That's less that 15 days. This Amendment (if you don't already know) denies same sex couples the right to marry. I wanna marry my girl one day. You probly wanna marry your sweety too. So make your opinion count. Call any of these numbers as many times as you want and say, "I want my opinion counted, I oppose the Federal Marriage Amendment."

Lesbians agains Bush.
Vote John Kerry (running mate John Edwards). John & John. That makes me smile. I'll smile even bigger when he's inaugurated.

If you want motivation to vote Democrat go see Fahrenheit 9/11. If you think your vote doesn't count shut up and register. You and the other 20 million need to get registered and rock the vote. Tell everyone you know.

Young people don't value their vote. It's the young people we need to go out and vote. We are the one's affected by much of what is going on. Do you know anyone in the military? Is he/she young? Are you gay/gay friendly? Do you believe in equality? Yes? Then you need to make your vote count.

Elections are soon. In the Fall. Get educated so you can feel good about your vote. Remember, tell everyone you know. Find out where you go to vote. There are so many places to go you won't wait in line long (I've never stood in line). Also, there is early voting. No lines. Watch the news. BUSH is a moron. Shave the Bush.

7th July 2004

9:39pm: Go See Fahrenheit 9/11.

Vote John Kerry.

I hate Bush.

I saw it today with Selena. Afterward I felt enraged, disgusted and sorrowful. I saw it again tonight at the Enzian. I had questions and wanted answers. I think I got them. Anyway, I changed my address and party affiliation while waiting to get my ticket, saw the movie and had a nice "We were 'Bush'whacked" bumpersticker awaiting me afterward.

1:59pm:

I'm listening to a really great song right now.  On the slow side, but still great.

I'm happy.  Yes, happy.  I've had a wonderful year thus far.  I wish Uncle Marcus was still here, but when it's time, it's time.  And I've learned over the last twelve months that you never know when it's time....

I've met someone truly wonderful.  Amazing.  Fantastic.  Super sweet.  Did I mention wonderful?  I'm lucky.  So, lucky.  Scooter likes her.  That's the ultimate decision maker right there.  If Scooter didn't like her, I dunno.  I'm kidding of course.  It would be if she didn't like Scooter that the problem would arise.  And since she thinks he's simply adorable she's in.  ;)

I've found a new motivation in the last two months.  Seems I want to do more, better and faster.  A nice change from my life over the last year or so.

I'm looking for a job.  I need a second one.  Closer to home (UCF area).  If anyone knows of a studio or 1 bed I think I need a private renter.  So, if you see anything lead me to it.

Nobody owns my attraction to this earnest relationship with her aptitude.  Truly I languish openly, virtuously engaging youth's offenseless understanding.
